definitely one of my favorite places in Florence, the menu is always strictly Tuscan in season. the dishes are made with the freshest ingredients. in Tuscan cuisine there are also alternatives for vegetarians, they also have a special menu. the place is very typical historical, and the staff is very friendly, the service is fast, they have a great wine menu, and it is a Tuscan experience that you absolutely must try!!!!

We had the best time there, the stuff is amazing and the food was over our expectations. The price is real for what you eat. Great vibe and the best food. Keep in mind to call to check for a table because they are pretty full and the last order is at 10:30 pm.

Chose to eat here based on the lively atmosphere and what looked like a good number of locals eating here, very pleased with our experience. Upon entering, we asked for a table for 2 and were guided to what i thought would be a table but was a stairwell going downstairs where we descended ourselves, once down we entered a brick vaulted room packed with locals, it was then i felt confident we had found an authentic restaurant. Had a nice experience here, we both ate the lasagna and split the pork with roast potatoes, both were quite good. Half litre of house red which was a bit sweet but still nice. Our server was genuine and polite.

The best ravioli with cheese & tagliolini truffle we ever had! Service was fast, friendly & attentive waiters & great ambiance.

This place was recommended to me by the owner of my small hotel. Went there twice during my stay in Florence. Will definitely come back one day. Good food, moderate prices.

Lucky to arrive early, we could find a table without reservation at this popular restaurant. We had a starter of various sliced salami and cured ham, followed by a spaghetti carbonara and a Ribollita, as we wanted to taste some local dishes as well. Both were good, but the bistecca Fiorentina was simply delicious; very tender and perfectly grilled! The local variety of pecorino was just a perfect finish! Makes us want to try more of the local cuisine!

5.5 ribotilla was good and interesting, worth trying at other places. Didn’t have other dishes so it’s hard to rate reliably. Service was unusually slow, enough that other diners were frustrated. Legendary bottled water, this was the first time I’ve ever noticed bottled water so good lol. Others were asking for more as well. Worth trying the proper food here since this is def not a tourist spot

First rule of eating Florentine Steak. It comes rare so don't ask for it to be cooked any other way. Second rule of eating Florentine Steak. Even if you don't normally eat your steaks rare, do what the Romans do and go with the flow. My sister and one of my nephews don't like it rare but they tried it and loved it. Super popular spot for Florentine Steak. Since we didn't make any reservations, we arrived when it opened for dinner and were seated right away. There is an upstairs and downstairs. Service was outstanding from start to finish. As busy as they were, our waiter was patient in explaining that we should order in kilos. Our mouths were watering with anticipation. That first bite was everything and more. Why can't we have this back home?? Order a pasta or two to go along with your steak. As I am writing this review, I'm salivating. We got to visit two places for Florentine steak in Florence and we all thought this was better than the other one. We also ordered a plate of Salami and Pastrami. OMG, best salami ever and I'm not even a huge fan of salami. It's just different from the ones I have had all my life back in the states. A must visit on your trip to Italy.

Truly amazing !! The lasagna was fabulous !! Felt very family feeling! Line waiting outside

Fantastic historic trattoria, with a great Florentine menu. Unique establishment with a traditional depth, and charming decoration. Service is impecable and food is so good. The meat is truly exceptional. Do not miss the more elaborated osso buco, and the ragout with white beans. Pasta is incredible here, and do the house made cakes. A safe heaven in a city full of tourist traps.
